Rev. Beverly Bell

Rev. Beverly S. Bell is a woman of God who is sold out and fully committed to doing the will of God. Her life goals are to grow ever closer to God, to show others the way to God through the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and to help the body of Christ grow spiritually through the study and application of the Word of God.

Rev. Bell is currently serving as the Executive Pastor of the Rock Christian Center in Falls Church Virginia under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Denise Wilson, the Senior Pastor. She also exercises her gifts for teaching and missions as the Director of Education and the Director of Missions at the Rock.

Rev. Bell has long had a real passion for the lost throughout the world and in March 2002, she was ordained to serve as the Minister of International Missions at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church  (MPBC) in Herndon Virginia where Rev. Dr. James L. Graham, Jr. was her pastor.  Her other passion is teaching and she used her teaching gifts in the Church Bible Institute of MPBC where she taught the Singles Sunday School, a weekly New Testament Bible Study, discipleship classes including Survival Kit and MasterLife and a Missions/Evangelism Training class for which she developed a complete curriculum to prepare missionaries, both novice and experienced, to take the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the world. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Theology at the MPBC campus of Faith Christian University where she taught Eschatology and Christian Apologetics.

When not working on behalf of the Rock, Rev. Bell serves as a teacher and study facilitator for a group of elderly men and women living in a senior citizens housing complex. She also serves as a mentor, life coach and spiritual advisor for a group of women which she affectionately refers to as her Stray Cats Ministry. These Stray Cats are mainly homeless, abused women who seek her for guidance and encouragement to escape their abusive situations. Rev. Bell is a member of the National Council of Negro Women, Baptist Ministers Conference of Northern Virginia, and a golden member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Rev. Bell has studied to show herself approved unto God. In addition to a Bachelors and Masters degree in Physics from Morgan State University and Howard University respectively, she holds a Master of Divinity degree from Faith Bible College and Seminary and is working on her Doctor of Ministry degree with a focus in Missiology.

Rev. Bell is a native of Baltimore Maryland who currently resides in Northern Virginia. She is blessed to be the proud mother of one daughter and the grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren.

The focal scripture of her life is Psalm 34:1-3 NKJV

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.
